Here is a statement from the NWS in Gaylor, Michigan for the airport weather station at Alpena, MI.....

SURPRISINGLY…THE ISOLATED SHOWER IN NE LOWER WENT AWAY AS QUICKLY AS IT
CAME (the shower did not move).
Alpena REPORTED -RA (a light
rainshower) AT THE TOP OF THE HOUR…BUT IT DID SO AT THE SAME TIME
YESTERDAY EVENING…OUT OF A CLEAR SKY.
THIS IS MOST LIKELY SOMEONE
RUNNING THE AIRPORT SPRINKLER SYSTEM
