Updated Monday morning at 8:25 AM..... The Louisville heat island effect prevented frost from developing in the city. It was a different story elsewhere with unusually low temperatures so late in the spring season.
In some areas it was the latest spring frost in over 40 years. A few locations had a light freeze.
