EF2 in Illinois and severe chances increasing for Louisville



Monday's severe weather reports
There were 23 reports of tornadoes and 263 reports of wind damage on Monday.

Most of the tornadoes were in Oklahoma but one was reported just west of Indianapolis in Hendricks county. It was an EF-0.













Mt. Olive, Illinois
An EF-2 twister was reported at Mt. Olive, IL near Quincy.
The photo shows the damage to Mel's Place. Note the whole upstairs is gone except for the central part.











Wind damage threat through tonight
All of Kentucky has been added to a slight risk for severe for today and tonight. This is mainly an isolated wind damage risk.















Wednesday wind damage risk

For Wednesday, there is an upper level slight risk (30%) for severe storms across Ohio into the Detroit area.



For Louisville, strong storms are possible during the mid-day or afternoon.
