7 states hit 100 degrees... 98 in Minneapolis

On Tuesday, the early season heat really hit the plains and the upper midwest.

Several cities in Minnesota hit 102 which was the hottest ever during May in Minnesota.

Sioux City, Iowa hit 106   The 3 letter airport abbreviation for Sioux City is SUX which kinda matched their weather.
