Frost and freeze for the north country

Another blast of cold weather is dropping south out of Canada into the Great Lakes and eastern states.

For tonight, a Freeze Warning is in effect for northern Wisconsin including Rhinelander.
Temps may drop as low as 20 degrees.

The latest spring 20 degrees ever in Louisville was March 31.

A Frost Advisory covers Wisconsin and Michigan including Green Bay and Traverse City

I spent a few days in the Traverse City area once during the first week of June and the temperature never made it above 50 degrees. So this type of weather can happen this time of year.

Locally, outlying areas will drop into the 40's for Thursday and Friday nights. The Louisville record low for Friday is 40 and for Saturday is 35. Those records are not in jeopardy of being broken.
